Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Strip Fitter to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Chatham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bodyshop professional to work in a modern workshop, carrying out strip and refit work to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle strip and fit repairs to manufacturer and insurance standards.
- Undertake mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) work where required.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs using modern equipment and tools.
- Work efficiently to achieve deadlines without compromising quality.
- Follow all health, safety, and compliance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Strip Fitter / MET Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
- ATA/NVQ Level 3 qualification desirable but not essential.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
